Low-Residency Program Redesign
An instructional designer can also facilitate a program redesign process, providing supports and insights along the way. This series of presentations and associated survey was used to kick off the conversion of a Marriage and Family Therapy doctoral program from high-residency to low-residency (periods of online work between weekend workshops), along with a transition to competency-based instruction and assessment. We began with an ADDIE process, moving from Analysis to Design. Funding approval for development was delayed.
