The Empowered Teacher (2009-13)
I built this website in 2009 to serve my educational technology consulting business. It features a blog (defunct) about my belief that the culture and structure of open source projects have a lot to offer public school organizations as they re-organize for the 21st century. The site features a technology planning guide for small schools, and includes my earlier ePortfolio (which highlights more K-12 work).
It also highlights the models of engagement I offer public and private school clients, and describes the importance of adopting a project management / community conversation Intranet for technology change initiatives, for which I provide and host Drupal distributions (Open Atrium and Commons). The design is somewhat dated now, which is part of the reason I moved my ePortfolio to its current location, but it conveys my range of experience, knowledge and skills in a stimulating format.
